If you know what camcorder tapes are, you’ve probably been around longer than me. I guess they were pretty popular in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s for recording family memories, sporting events, birthdays, weddings and much more. But here’s the thing, those tapes can degrade over time and eventually become unplayable. That’s where converting camcorder tapes to digital comes in.

It’s super important because it lets you preserve those memories forever and make them easily shareable on modern devices. Plus, digital files are much more durable than tapes, so you don’t have to worry about them getting damaged or lost, and you can easily copy the files to multiple devices and to the cloud for safe storage!
